By Train:

You can also reach there by train. You can get a train to Kalka and then catch a bus from Kalka to Shimla its approx 96 km which take 2 hours. You can also catch Toy train from Kalka to Shimla. It’s the best way to get there by watching hills and mountains on one side.

Train: You have to break the journey, where trains are not available to the nearby station you can reach Chandigarh or Kalka than you have to catch a bus.

The Tibetan Buddhist tradition states that Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, had meditated at Muktinath on his way to Tibet. This temple is praised by many saints of Hindu tradition. The scripts narrating the importance of this temple are available in Vishnu Purana with the Gandaki Mahathmya.
